Changing the battery for your Aster Bluetooth Button

Periodically, you will need to replace the battery in your Aster Bluetooth button with a new CR2025 battery. Follow the steps below to replace the battery in your button safely.

Inside the key ring, there is a small notch for removing the button's back cover.

To remove the back cover (the side with the Aster logo, as shown below), insert a small flat-head screwdriver or other flat object like a guitar pick into the notch and gently pry up. The back cover will start to lift off the metal rim. Carefully pry up around the outside of the cover until it has been completely removed.

 

With the cover removed, use your finger to gently lift out the old CR2025 battery. To insert the new battery, place the side opposite the notch in first, then gently push it back and down until it sits securely in the button.

Once the battery is installed, replace the button's back cover. To reattach the back cover, press firmly around the edges of the button until all sides of the cover are snapped in tightly to the rest of the button.
