What type of connection does Freedom Alert Plus use?

Freedom Alert Plus uses Wi-Fi connection to pair with the Care Village app on a smartphone. The device will work inside and outside, within range of a Wi-Fi network. Freedom Alert Plus uses the Care Village app to send notifications to caregivers in an emergency and with device status updates.
